Sundial Festival 2016
An amazing day as Stepping Stones and COINS celebrated the 6th festival hosted at Sundial by Larry. The day saw performances from students across the school on the drums and keyboards as well as drama and vocal performances. Not to be outdone Melissa, our headteacher, also took to the stage with a song thanking those that have gifted so much to the school.
We also took a moment to congratulate Rachel Morris, paralympian, on her recent success at the world championships and breaking the world record in her rowing event by a massive 6 seconds.
In addition students and the PTA supported food and fundraising stalls as everyone enjoyed a largely sunny afternoon whilst raising money for the school's new Creative Media Curriculum. A huge vote of thanks to all those who gave so much to the day - as ever you make the event so successful.
We were joined by many of our suppporters, volunteers, families and friends and with over 500 expected on the day we can once again rejoice in the huge support that the school receives from so many sources.
For those still interested, the silent auction is still active with many wonderful items from holidays in Austria to power boat trips on the Solent still to be sold. The website is: http://charityauction.bid/sundialfest2016
