Can you believe it, the kids from Stepping Stones have just climbed Snowdon?!? As part of the COINS 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of the COINS Foundation, we all took the train up to summit, and depending on abilities, some went back to the base and climbed up the shoulder of the mountain and some climbed down from the summit. Either way it was a tough but valiant effort that pushed all but the fittest to beyond they’re expectations. Most even forwent the option of using the minibus on the last tarmac section, as Ryan put it “If I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it all.” Needless to say both Staff and Students have come back absolutely elated and we’ve got countless stories to share, from hundreds of pictures to thousands of words, that we’ll be sharing here for you all to see. |
