On Thursday September 17th, eleven of our students travelled up to London for a charity event, the Total Objects Dragon Boat Race Day. Insurance companies from the City took part in a series of races on the water as well as a 5km cycle and a 2km run. Monies raised will go to the COINS Foundation, in whose work our students take a great interest. They could not take to the water but they cheered the teams on and had a chance to ride the static bicycles. The entertainment, the Chinese dancers in particular, was hugely enjoyed as was the excellent BBQ at the afternoon's end. Our journey back was hampered by heavy traffic but everyone turned up for school on Friday with plenty to talk about.These photos give you a taste of the day; more can be found at www.totalobjects.co.uk
